When I'm reading manuscripts and wanting to leave myself and the writer a trail to follow after they've finished the draft, I call those margin notes "breadcrumbs." They're not for "now," they're for later, when the author is ready to rewrite. It occurs to me for the first time how apt a term "breadcrumbs" is for this, and that we all, if we're very lucky, get a chance to rewrite our lives or at least our understanding of them. Nice piece, Nona. Your rewrite is going beautifully.

Stunning article - I need to read a couple more times as I sense there is more in there for me than I could grasp with one reading.

And absolutely beautiful drawing!

I love what you are doing here Nona - please don’t stop ❤️

I appreciate the nudge to notice the teachers that present themselves in our lives. This is revolutionary.

Right? I can be so attached to figuring everything out myself (like a toddler, really) instead of opening my heart to the support, guidance, and wisdom of others. I'm glad it landed!! I love you!!

Mmmmm, thank you, Nona! ❤️

I have multiple health issues that have challenged me across my life (Type 1 diabetes, brain surgery to remove a walnut-sized meningioma, ADHD, and lifelong anxiety).

I have a friend with MS, and she is one of the most cheerful, deeply spiritual, kind people I have ever met. Much like you.

When our challenges and diagnoses don’t completely take us down, there can be so much power and wisdom that can result. But it comes from a blessed place of humility.

Thank you for the encouragement of your post. I am again wrestling with income and expenses. I just left an incredibly stressful, soul-sucking part-time job — with physical and psychological relief, but also with financial anxiety.

The practical thing is to find another part-time job, but what I passionately want is to devote all of my energy and attention my business!

It has been very hard to not continue to look through part-time job possibilities because of the financial anxiety. But then, when I do look at those part-time jobs that I try to imagine squeezing who I am into, the “have-tos” and the “shoulds” totally distract me from giving my full attention to my business.

I am going to allow the wisdom and strength of your words soak into me and strengthen my commitment for my business.

Thank you, Nona. 🙏🏼❤️

Intuition is such a process of love and curiosity, isn’t it? I think even the misses are part of owning what we know is true. What do you think?

Thank you for being here and being in the conversation with me!! ❤️
