What is Alive
What is giving me life, what I'm loving, what is nourishing my resilience.
Pepper Jordan, spicy elder dog of the family.
1. Spring Energy
The iris leaves are pushing up. With the wet snowstorm this past week, the grass has greened a little more on its own, no extra water required! In the wee-dark early mornings when I’m walking Pepper, I’m noticing the birdsong increasing — more of it each day, layered and unhurried. The smell of the earth announces spring before the calendar does.
2. Learning from a Beloved Teacher
I’ve just begun a restorative yoga training with Judith Lasater (one of my yoga sheros), and it is a genuine delight — learning and embodying new shapes, new ways of intentional restoration that are SO good and that I’m excited to bring to clients and students. There is something particularly nourishing about letting new understanding settle into the body rather than just the mind.
3. Creating Rich Containers for Women
I am just loving the women who are gathering for Soul Nourished Circle: Bone Deep. Enrollment closes tomorrow, March 10th, and I wanted to say it here, once, in case you’ve been sitting with it.
The rhythm begins almost immediately. Our first embodiment session is March 12th. At the Equinox, I will offer the first of four seasonal energy transmissions for the group. The following week, we gather in circle to share what is already moving.
I’ll add, I created this circle based on what I need and crave right now. The work is cumulative, the structure is intentionally spacious. What we are building — session by session, season by season — is inner stability with nourishing support. This is not a course with more content — the content is you and your lived experience. The arc is designed to strengthen your capacity to meet your life with a strong spine, literally and metaphorically, from the inside out.
If you have been considering, I trust your body already knows. The full invitation is here. I would love to welcome you.
“Soul Nourished feels like a magical glade in the midst of a green, vibrant forest where my Being gets to sink into the Earth whilst surrounded by wildflowers, mushrooms, blue skies, and wise souls. It feels like a light portal where my energy body can rest, unwind, and tap into new insights and possibilities. What has brought me back to Soul Nourished is Nona’s exquisite integrity in holding the medicine and circle and the gift of gathering in a sacred circle of women at this time.”

What is bringing you life and joy in these times? I’d love to know.
With all my love,
Nona
